EXTRA HIGH VOLTAGE SUBSTATIONS

• With a long record of successfully executed projects, alfanar is a leading EPC contractor for all kinds of substations. We have executed numerous extra high voltage substations up to 380kV, right from undertaking the design, supply, project management, erection, to the testing & commissioning stage.

• Outdoor Substations alfanar acquired international repute for the complete Turnkey for the Wadi Jaleel 380kV, outdoor substation, the first of its kind in the entire Kingdom.
•  Indoor Substations alfanar has to its credit the undertaking and commissioning of numerous indoor substations in the region including the 380 kV Jeddah North and the 380/132kV Shifa substations.

 

EXTRA HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSMISSION LINES (U/G CABLES & OHL)

• Extra high voltage transmission lines are one of alfanar’s specialties. Today we have to our credit long lines of executed transmission projects at various levels from 4.16kV up to 380kV.

• It has complete facilities for surveying, designing towers, arranging supply of towers and line materials as well as complete construction of extra high voltage transmission lines including modern and hi-tech equipments and vehicles.

• Underground Cabling Design and engineering which include cable circuit route profile, hydraulic system calculations, alarm system schematic diagrams, calculations of continuous and overload ratings, calculations of induced voltages, design of cable trench, joint bays, earthing system and laying including the testing & commissioning, are some of the few capabilities.

• Over Head Lines Complete engineering and design including towers & gantry foundations, earthings, plan & profile, tower spotting, SAG ad tension charts, SAG templates and calculation of phase sequence, Soil investigation to erection and testing & commissioning.
